About me

My name is Deborah.  I am 70 years old.  I have six adult children and four grandchildren most of whom live back east where I’m originally from.  I moved to Bozeman Montana in 2015, the year I turned 62.

I specialize in taking care of women, and their family members.  I am a mother and grandmother and have personal knowledge regarding what it takes to raise a family and what it’s like not making time for self-care.

When many of my clients have family visiting, I am often asked to come to massage mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, uncles, aunts and friends. This makes for an even merrier family gathering.

I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for almost 24 years. When I completed my massage therapist training and licensing I was divorced, still raising my children and could not afford to rent a space to massage.

I was still teaching kindergarten when one of my student’s parents hurt his back. His wife called me in the evening and asked if I could come to their home to massage him as all other spas and massage businesses were closed for the day.  The massage brought much relief and they were so grateful that they told their friends. After I massaged those referrals, they also told friends, family, and colleagues. My mobile massage business had begun just by word of mouth.  I’d discovered my niche!

Many people work long hours and cannot get to a massage location before it closes. Some people would just rather be massaged in the privacy of their own home. People enjoy the luxury of being able to have the “zen” feeling persist after a good massage and driving home in traffic from a spa or therapist often erases some of that relaxation. That is not a problem when the therapist visits you!

I have more than two decades of experience in this field (both in-spa and in-home situations) and have been told that it shows. My philosophy about massage matches current research on its role in human life. Yes, massages are physically relaxing. But there is more.  Many studies show the myriad health benefits of massage, from increased circulation to better posture. Not to mention the mental and spiritual “vacation” that a massage can bring.

It is always my goal that when I pack up my equipment and go on my way, my clients are left with increased mental, spiritual and physical health. Massage at Home delivers spa-quality massages; bringing, massage table, sheets, music and two hands with 23 plus years of experience.  I essentially bring the spa to you.

I moved to Bozeman after falling in love with Montana during a trip to attend a wedding on Flathead Lake.  I want to bring the Massage at Home experience to the people of and many visitors to this town.  It is a way to “pay forward” the peace and joy I receive just by living here.
