FAQs

Q: How much space do I need for the massage?

A: Many homes have more than enough space in the living room and many have enough room in a bedroom. Many hotel rooms do not have enough space in a regular hotel room but a hotel suite always has room if we shift some of the furniture.

The massage table itself is a tad longer than 6 feet and the width is 32 inches. Then you add approximately 2 feet all around for the therapist to work around the table. This will give you an idea of what space is required.

Q: What is “Mobile Massage”?

A: Mobile massage is where the massage therapist comes to your home (or wherever you are staying during your vacation) and delivers a massage that REALLY fits your busy schedule, in the comfort of where YOU are instead of your trying to fit one in before some facility closes.

Q: Why get a massage?

A: Massage affects all of the body’s systems, resulting in improved general functioning. The skin is the body’s largest sensory organ. When it is touched it affects the central nervous system triggering the release of endorphins which are the body’s natural painkillers, promoting relaxation and a drop in stress levels.

With today’s high stress lifestyles or after a tiring day hunched over a computer, standing on your feet all day or after a race or hike, massage can help. Massage also increases blood and lymph circulation boosting the body’s immunity.

Whatever you do for a living or in life receiving a massage once or twice a month will make you happy that you did!!

Q: Is there anything that I should do after my massage?

A: Yes. Drink lots of water! After you’ve received a massage you need to drink lots of water for the next 24-48 hours. This will help flush any toxins that may have been loosened. Failure to drink enough water and get the toxins moving out of your system fast can result in headaches and sometimes nausea as the toxins move slowly out of the body. Some people stop getting massages after their first for that same reason. Someone failed to tell them about the water and they give up thinking that massage just isn’t for them.
